Paint Color Consultations
in Colorado Springs
Choosing a paint color sounds simple—until you have twelve nearly identical samples taped to the wall and somehow none of them look right.
I help Colorado Springs homeowners confidently choose interior and exterior paint colors that work with their home's lighting, finishes, architecture and existing materials.
Sometimes you don't need a full-service interior designer—you just need someone to tell you which color actually works. A beautiful paint color can look completely wrong next to the wrong brick, flooring, countertop or roof. That's why I don't choose colors in isolation. I look at undertones, natural and artificial light, existing finishes and the colors that aren't changing before making a recommendation. Whether we're working around orange brick, gray flooring, dated cabinetry or a roof that's pulling unexpectedly pink, the goal isn't to find a trendy color—it's to find the right color for your home.
During your focused 30-minute consultation, we'll look at your space, existing finishes, lighting and surroundings to narrow down the right paint color for your project.
Professional guidance for interior or exterior paint colors includes:
Large Sherwin-Williams sample sheets of your selected colors mailed directly to your home
Follow-up email with your recommended colors and notes
Professional guidance without committing to a full-service
design project
Paint Color Consultation
$150 for 30 Minutes
Can't find the right white? Fighting existing gray floors or cabinets? Trying to create a whole-house palette that actually flows?
I'll help you choose colors that work with your home's lighting, flooring, cabinetry, countertops, furnishings and other fixed finishes—not just colors that looked pretty on Pinterest.
Interior Paint Color Consultation
Exterior color gets complicated quickly. Brick, stone, roofing, windows, landscaping and even the direction your home faces can dramatically change how a color looks.
I'll help you select colors for siding, trim, front and garage doors, and shutters that work with the elements of your home that aren't changing.

Your $150 consultation includes a focused 30-minute, in-person session where we'll work through your paint color decisions together. Absolutely! I offer both interior and exterior paint color consultations. Inside, that might mean choosing the perfect wall color, coordinating colors from room to room, or finding a white that actually works. Outside, we can select colors for siding, stucco, trim, shutters, garage doors, and front doors while working with existing elements like brick, stone, roofing, and windows

I primarily work with Sherwin-Williams colors and include up to five large Sherwin-Williams sample sheets with your consultation. Happy to explore other brands if you have your heart set on another!
-
Yes! A paint consultation can be used for a single room, multiple spaces, a whole-home color palette, or your home's exterior. If your project involves more extensive design decisions beyond paint—like flooring, tile, countertops, cabinetry, lighting, or furnishings—we may decide that an In-Home Design Consultation or Remodel Planning Strategy Session is a better fit.
-
I offer in-person paint color consultations throughout Colorado Springs, including areas such as Rockrimmon, Peregrine, Briargate, Northgate, Flying Horse, Black Forest, the Broadmoor, Old North End, as well as Monument, but will travel elsewhere too! Virtual consultations may also be available by request.

Perfect—that's why I'm coming! You don't need to narrow it down to three colors before we meet. Bring the paint chips you've collected if you have them, but if you've reached the point where they all look exactly the same, we'll start fresh. My job is to look at your home as a whole, narrow down the options, and give you a clear direction so you can stop second-guessing and start painting.
Need Help With More Than Paint?
Paint might be only one piece of the puzzle. If you're also making decisions about flooring, tile, countertops, cabinetry, lighting, furnishings or how to pull everything together, a full Design Consultation may be a better fit.
I'll help you prioritize your decisions and create a cohesive direction for your home—without requiring a full-service design commitment.
